If I have HSV-2 G and I date someone who has HSV-1 or HSV-2 Oral is there a way I can be sure not to contract Oral Herpes?

I break out on my Right hand,foot, palm, neck, inside my nostril, and scalp. Has anyone every experienced this type of herpes? My doctor is shocked because he says its typically affects nose,mouth,and genital since its occurs on nerve cells. This has caused me severe anxiety because I have a daughter and I'm scared of even holding her hand. She gets upset because she feels that I don't give her affection. Im on medication but i don't want to risk it
